Katey | An ADHD-able™️ Life

I never know what type of day I'm going to have until I wake up, and that's OK. But it took me awhile to get there.

This is my ADHD-abletm Life & I’m sharing it with the world in the hopes it helps others.

A late diagnosis for ADHD provides validation and clarify, followed almost immediately by grief and chaos.

My ADHD diagnosis came at 41 after my kiddos were diagnosed. Then burnout. Then recovery. Then I rebuilt my life by creating "ADHD-abletm living" approach, which means building and living a life that works for my brain, so my brain works for me. My frameworks and concepts blend what I've learned about neuroscience & neuropsychology with my love of storytelling & visual resources. I also wrote myself an ADHD-abletm Manifesto to help center me in my late diagnosed journey. Download a print here!

Now, I’m living a multi-passionate life as an ADHD creator, Brain Coach, Fractional CMO, UGC Creator, Podcaster and - honestly - whatever else comes my way. Because I love variety and following what excites me.

It's never too late to start building an ADHD-able life, even if you're late-diagnosed. You can learn how with free resources and an on-demand program at www.neuronuancelife.com.

The ADHD-abletm Manifesto

We are the ones who were told to try harder.

To be more disciplined. To stop making things so complicated.

But we have tried. Harder than anyone knows.

We have spent years fighting our own brains, shaming ourselves

for what we “should” be able to do. The habits we couldn’t keep.

The deadlines we missed.

The potential we were certain we had—but couldn’t seem to harness.

That ends now.

Because we don’t need to be more disciplined.

We need systems that work for us—not against us.

We don’t need to be like everyone else. We need to build a life that fits our brain.

This is an ADHD-able Life.

One where we stop forcing ourselves into

neurotypical molds and start designing our days around how we actually function.

Where we swap shame for strategy.

Where we meet ourselves with understanding instead of self-criticism.

Where we hack our own brains to get where we want to go.

We embrace the low-function days—because we know survival is still success.

We maximize the high-function days—because when we’re in the zone, we fly.

We don’t strive for perfection.

We are consistently inconsistent, so we strive for momentum.

We are not broken or lazy.

We are wired differently, and that difference is our strength.

The world wasn’t built for ADHD brains. So we will build something better.

For us. For our kids.

For anyone who has spent their life thinking they just weren’t trying hard enough.

We are making our lives ADHD-able.

And that creates a new beginning for us. And for our brains.
